![]() An excellent slow blues track that has shades of the late great Stevie Ray Vaughan written all over it. Track 3 is the 3.5 minute 'Meeting of the Mummy'. But it's placement on the album works well. Though enjoyable its far too short to really get into the track. The track starts off with some funky wah riffs before slowing things down with some basic blues. Track 2 is the albums shortest track 'Room of Shells'. So many things going on in this one and it all comes together gloriously! The 2nd longest track on the album at just under 6.5 minutes, it starts off gloriously eerie, goes into some heavy drums and riffage, before trading nylon string acoustic noodling with heavy riffage, then ending with an outstanding guitar solo. The album begins with it's title track 'Propellar'. Better late than never.Īnd the title of the album 'Propellar' is seemingly spelled wrong, although there's been numerous misspellings of albums and tracks over the years in Bucketheadland that it might well be on purpose.
